Shadow transit was visible during this sketch. Also new technique, using blending stump to draw detail in Jupiter's cloud belts.

Very good seeing conditions, though bright because of full moon. Much detail in cloud belts visible, and cloud belts visible that weren't in the first sketch. Momentary glimpses of more detail than I could record in sketch.

First Jupiter sketch, but done through hazy sky conditions. Not much detail visible in cloud belts, but this was exciting because of an egress by Io from behind the planet. Orange sketch pencils were the most useful.
