Montebello Open Space Preserve, CA. 8:09-8:13pm PDT. Megrez 80 II FD w/22mm Lanthanum wide-angle (25x). Seeing 5/10, Transparency 5/10 (light-polluted region of sky).
Asteroid 4 Vesta 07-14-2007
Vesta was near opposition in Scorpius, and very bright. Supposedly visible with naked eye from a dark site at its brightest, but I used a telescope.
